WebJun 28, 2011 · In my case, it seemed to come from the left front. it would go away when the brakes were applied an when the vehicle was travelling over 45 mph. Inspections showed cracks in the tension strut bushings, but nothing else. Tension struts were replaced but didn't fix the rattle. Front sway bar bushing replaced, still had the rattle.
