It is solidly installed with the flange anchored on top of a ledge at the back of the wall. WebAny suggestions would be helpful, thank you. Screw another layer of cement board over it. It comes in 1/4" and 1/2". And you may have to add another layer of drywall to flush things out. More work and expense, but now you know to check and see if the studs need furred out if there's a next time.
