In the SoS layout you referenced the first 47n is the input cap, the second one is in the feedback loop of the first opamp stage. Together with R4 it sets the 'mid hump' frequency of the TS. You will notice in the Green Screamer schematic that capacitors C7 and C8 are .22uF (microfarads). This is the stock TS value. The same components in the Eternity … WebMay 9, 2016 · For a start, that schematic is missing a Vref bypass capacitor, so your AC gain is going to be lower than intended, as set by R4 in series with the parallel combination of R1 and R2, or 54k7, which will give you a maximum gain of 11 instead of the design goal of 117.
